A sunshines smile

This special girl was honored this weekend at her University SPU for her hard work. Only 50 people in her class were honored. woot woot :) Well this young lady has been a ray of smiles sense she was Gods gift to this world and her rays of smiles and her will to shine is so amazing. I am so proud of her and admire my brother for being a dad who pushes success out of her . Great job to her and her parents!But most of all to God who always watched over her and protected her with so much blessings .

Carry on with Steady Hands .

It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect . Psalm 18:32NIV. So my daughters soccer team is lacking a goalie those who know soccer goalie is a very important position to hold. It's basically who powers the team so are last game that we had my husband put in a couple of his fils players to fill in including my daughter ! Even though we had Haley who is great at playing this position I and others were asking why aren't you playing her . The coach (my hubby) knew that these girls also were capable and can carry any position he put their way with steady hands.sometimes are kids and circumstances show us the people that you have on your team could help you have a steady hand to lead or sometimes you just might have to carry on and allow someone else the opportunity to lead . Remember God is control he leads he gives steady hands He loves when we are in it for him !

He has risen

Thank you Lord for the Great job that you have blessed my husband with . It's brought many blessing to our family and others praise you God for all that you do for are family !

Got some new spring fun material .

went on a run to the fabric store.I found some cute patterns and happy colors plus this great ruffle material that comes in a set of three 1.5 yard for each ruffle... love it!! It's been very gloomy and rainy here in Washington I really need something to make our home cheerful and bring some hope for summer. So I made some curtains for the kitchen .plus watched the voice well I was sewing .

Good Grief! Look at what my college son has been up to!

So my son is a freshman at SMU and he lives at home . In his spare time we believe and hope he is studying but I guess he has been on the laptop ordering.... boxes. After dinner he asked me and his dad to go into the garage because he had something to show us, well I was thinking "what did you do!" and I was really hesitant to see . But when I saw he had a big stack of empty boxes, we asked "where did you get those!" He said "they were free!" Oh my!! It made my night I laughed and laughed. He said he was planing on hiding them from us but his stack kept growing. "Maybe he is thinking of moving" his sisters say, but I always cringe when my girls say that. I'm happy he is at home, going to school full time and that he works. I believe young adults need as much support from their families that can be offered since life can already be scary. Don't get me wrong he works hard to help out with any expenses his school charges.
Well,it looks like we won't be spending money on Christmas boxes this year!!! :)

Thurston County Flea Market

So after my girls game I stopped quickly by the small flea market that our county holds once a month . I always find a great deal and something that makes my heart pitta patter and smile like I found the greatest find ! So here's what I found a chair for my hubby's office and a small pitcher. The chair was 10 and the pitcher was 4.

Yesterday my girls had their first soccer game of the season. It has been great to have them play on the same team, it brings me great Joy when their dad puts them in at the same time and I see them work hard and make that special pass when one of my girls gets to score with the help of her sis it brings great Joy. Thank you Jesus for my girls who Love you and show us at times when we as parents don't always find Joy in are day. I am Blessed with what a cheerful heart that I have God!
